Industry grading from D (colorless) to Z (light tint). D–F presents an icy white; G–H balances beauty and value.
From FL (flawless) to I (included). Many VS/SI stones appear eye-clean depending on inclusion type and placement.
For Round, we prioritise Ideal/Excellent light performance (proportions, angles, symmetry). For fancy shapes, we select for minimal bow-tie, optimal spread, and balanced light return.
Ranges from None to Strong. Faint/Medium may subtly soften warmth; strong fluorescence can be a stylistic choice or avoided depending on the desired look.
Facet surface quality that influences crisp reflections. We favour Excellent where feasible for a sharp, mirror-like finish.
Facet alignment and balance. High symmetry complements cut to deliver consistent scintillation across the stone.
We supply internationally recognised grading reports where applicable.
What’s on a grading report?
Carat is weight, not face-up size. Two diamonds of identical carat can look different depending on cut and shape. Use this generic map for a rough sense only.
